MacGyver Centrifuge

Scientists at Harvard have built a working centrifuge from some plastic tubing, tape and an egg beater. A centrifuge is used to separate blood into plasma and blood cells, and this new approach could be extremely valuable for doctors in remote parts of the world where standard centrifuges are not available. Amazing stuff really…and a worthy MacGyverism.
